8 fashion moments you need to see from the 2025 Super Bowl
There was a ton of fashion at Super Bowl LIX, from athlete outfits to celebrity ensembles.
Taylor Swift, for example, wore a necklace that nodded to Travis Kelce.
DeAndre Hopkins wore his late father's mink coat before the game.
There was a lot more to Super Bowl LIX than football.
Kendrick Lamar performed a statement-making halftime show, huge brands battled for attention during commercials, and Tubi made a bigger name for itself by streaming the event.
There was also a lot of standout fashion, from athletes to celebrity attendees.
If you were more focused on the game, here are some of the best style details you might have missed.
Tom Brady walked around with a $740,000 watch on his wrist.
Brady made his debut as a Super Bowl commentator on Sunday, and he did so in style.
To complement his gray suit and black tie, the former football player accessorized with a Caviar Tourbillon timepiece from Jacob & Co.
The watch featured 48.92 carats of yellow sapphires and 1.32 carats of white diamonds arranged in a cluster meant to resemble caviar. It also had an alligator leather strap.
Taylor Swift's simple outfit retails for more than $60,000.
Compared to other outfits Swift has worn to Chiefs games this season, her Super Bowl ensemble seemed overly simple.
However, it was actually expensive and sentimental.
She wore a $3,253 Saint Laurent blazer, a $1,300 Alaïa bodysuit, crystal-covered shorts, $1,120 Paris Texas boots, a $990 Givenchy purse, and ruby rings from Effy Jewelry that cost $12,495 and $5,195.
Swift also donned a ruby bracelet from the same brand, a $4,350 Logan Hollowell hand chain, a $32,200 Panthère watch from Cartier, and the same Lorraine Schwartz T-charm chain she first wore at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
The casual look seemingly called back to the first outfit Swift ever wore to a Chiefs game: a white Dôen tank top and a black pair of Ksubi shorts.
The flashy chain Kendrick Lamar wore during his performance might have had a few subtle meanings.
When the rapper got onstage, you couldn't miss his diamond necklaces. The oversize pieces were layered and embellished with a massive "a" initial charm.
The latter piece could have referenced Lamar's ongoing feud with Drake in two ways.
Some fans say it might have stood for Aubrey, Drake's legal first name. Others pointed out that Lamar's "a" charm was lowercase and potentially meant to reference his famous "tryna strike a chord and it's probably a minor" lyric from "Not Like Us."
It's also possible that the charm more simply represented Lamar's creative company, pgLang, which uses the same style "a" in its logos.
Rather than wearing red or gold, Patrick Mahomes arrived wearing the Eagles' shade of green.
His pregame ensemble included a checked blazer and matching trousers in a teal shade that looked a lot like "midnight green," one of the Eagles' colors.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback also wore a blue tie, a white button-up shirt, and Oakley glasses.
Travis Kelce wore a few accessories, including a unique pin.
On Instagram, Kelce's stylist, Danielle Vanessa Salzedo, said the metallic flower pinned to his lapel was a real rose dipped in gold.
Amiri designed the pin, his '70s-style suit, and his sunglasses.
His suit, on the other hand, was originally designed for women.
The ensemble debuted at Paris Fashion Week in January, featuring the same orange-tinted blazer, trousers, and sparkling undershirt Kelce wore.
The brand's designer, Mike Amiri, told GQ that Kelce was the perfect person to wear the outfit, regardless of who it was originally designed for.
"He's just such a great person to dress because he can wear clothes, clothes don't wear him. He can make anything kind of work," he told the publication.
DeAndre Hopkins donned a fur coat that honored his family.
As ESPN reported, the mink coat belonged to Hopkins' father, who died in 1992 around the time his son was born.
The wide receiver previously told the network that he'd wear it on his wedding day or at the Super Bowl, depending on which happened first.
"My dad was a leader of the family, leader of our community," Hopkins told ESPN. "So it means a lot just being able to have a little bit of him with me."
Saquon Barkley accessorized his Canadian tuxedo with stunning diamonds.
First, there was his Jacob and Co. watch, which retails for $348,000 and is embedded with gems resembling planets.
The Eagles running back also sported a 76.53-carat diamond tennis bracelet.
