9 style tips from curvy influencers
I whole heartedly believe that style is not something that can be bought but something that is inside of us all waiting to be unleashed. My own style journey really started when I threw all the plus size fashion ‘rules’ I had been told my whole life out the window and stoped being afraid to wear certain trends because of my body type. Through forcing myself to step out of my comfort zone and be bold, I found the confidence to rock any garment and when you feel good in your own skin you can rock anything! This NYFW thanks to size inclusive shows like Chromat and events like theCURVYcon, plus size influencers have taken over the streets and sharing their top style tips to keep you looking your best this season!

“Honestly be yourself and be authentically true to who you are because when you feel good, you look good. I am also all about tailoring your clothes to fit your body. Don t worry about size, labels, or numbers, find something you love and make it work by finding yourself a good tailor!” O’Connor tells Yahoo Lifestyle.

“Honestly go for it! Like do the bold, do the color, do the prints especially now that brands are jumping on board and not just giving us black and boring designs. I would say to all my curvy girls out there go for it and wear it all! Make it your own and have fun with it,” Sacasa tells Yahoo Lifestyle.

“My number one style tip is to never be afraid, if you are afraid to put something on you are already limiting your ability to express yourself and that is what fashion is all about!” O’Brian tells Yahoo Lifestyle.
