Adam Devine Says Becoming a Dad Has Brought Him 'So Much Joy': 'I Wish I Would've Had Kids Sooner' (Exclusive)
The actor and comedian shares 11-month-old son Beau with wife Chloe Bridges
Adam Devine loves being a dad!
"It's so awesome," the actor and comedian, 41 — who has partnered with MyFitnessPal — tells PEOPLE exclusively of fatherhood. "I love it. It's brought me so much joy."
Devine and his wife Chloe Bridges welcomed their first baby, son Beau, in February 2024.
"I wish I would've had kids sooner. I love it, and I want to have 11 of them, but my wife is like, 'Two,' and I'm like, 'Four?' and she's like, 'Two,' so we'll see how that goes," he says.

Devine announced that he and Bridges, 33, were expecting their first baby together in October 2023.
"Look we're pregnant!" Well I'm just fat now but Chloe is all preggo with a human baby," he captioned an Instagram post, as Bridges added in her own, "We have news!! 🤰🏻 can't wait to get this lil family started."

Months later, the couple announced the birth of their child. In Devine's social media post, he and Bridges could be seen making crying faces and mimicking their son, who cried while being held.
"Meet lil baby Beau Devine! He can be fussy at times but we’ve already learned some great parenting techniques," the Righteous Gemstones star wrote. "Do your best fussy baby impression along with him and he’ll straighten right out."
According to Devine, there was a point in time when he was anxious to become a first-time father.
"People try to scare you, but don't get scared, men," he cautioned. "I know every guy, they always have some uncle or some friend who's like, 'Get ready for your life to be over,' and they try to punk you out of it, but I'm loving every second of it."
One part of being a dad that Devine loves — and is surprised he enjoys so much — is getting to change his son's diapers.
"Turns out I don't mind changing a diaper. It doesn't bother me even a little bit. I find it hilarious," he explains. "This guy poops, man, and every day it's a new adventure with those poops."
