Doctor Michael Mosley explains how adding flaxseeds, also known as linseeds to your meals, has many benefits for your health.

Speaking on his Just One Thing podcast, released on Thursday (25 April), Dr Mosley said: “They have many nutritional powers. They are packed with fibre, protein, and healthy fatty acids.

“A really simple way to incorporate more of them into your diet is to sprinkle them on porridge or your breakfast cereal, or to add to a salad, or bake them in bread or muffins.”
