AG Looks to the Art World for Its Fall 2025 Collection
For fall 2025, Los Angeles-based denim brand AG highlighted storytelling with a three-part collection that took inspiration from the art world.
“Basically the entire concept was based around artists in their environment and their studios,” said AG’s creative director Charles Sands. “We really wanted to make sure that each delivery was distinct. The first delivery focuses on the artists themselves and workwear uniforms — what they’d be wearing and working in. Delivery Two is them in their studio environment, but really being interviewed, so it’s more put together with the corduroys and linens. Then Delivery Three would be the artist’s opening.”

Each delivery showcased AG’s strength in denim, offering various cuts, colorations and fabric manipulations that continued the brand’s workwear origins, but also bring it to an elevated level.
On the workwear side, standout pieces included a paint-splattered jean paired with a men’s Western-inspired denim top, which Sands said reflects the brand’s unisex approach to design. There was also reversible nylon jackets, denim barn jackets and colorful corduroy outerwear that were put together and balanced the casual elements.
AG offered more formal styles in the last part of the collection, with standout looks like a crushed velvet high-neck top with an open back, low-rise barrel trousers and a velvet workwear-inspired dress. The styles showed a more elevated side of the brand.
The collection offered a large range of options that work for casual and more formal occasions and showcased the brand’s strengths in delivering newness in denim and workwear styles.
