Amanda Holden wows in teeny Union Jack dress ahead of Eurovision
Saturday night's Eurovision Song Contest may have seen the UK placed bottom – but ahead of the competition, Amanda Holden had been eagerly getting in the patriotic spirit.
The 50-year-old presenter, who was tasked with reading out the nation's verdict at the end of the evening, slipped on a teeny Union Jack dress.
Captioning the picture, which she shared on Instagram, the mother-of-two wrote: "Looking forward to making ‘un point’ or two at #Eurovision."
Her post went down well with fans, who left more than 112,000 'likes' – and many of her celebrity friends jumped into the comments.
Fellow TV presenter Ruth Langsford joked: "You’ll catch your death! Hope you have a vest on underneath!"
Former Towie star Samantha Faiers wrote: "Wow this is unreal."
Ex-Love Island contestant Montana Brown added: "Holy smokes."
And one fan noted that she seemed to be "channelling a little Ginger Spice" with her outfit.
Indeed, Holden appeared to have been inspired by Geri Halliwell's now-iconic look, which she first wore while performing with the Spice Girls at the Brit Awards in 1997.
But while the singer finished off her ultra-short dress with red leather platform boots, the Heart radio presenter opted for strappy black heels.
For the main Eurovision event, Holden slipped on a blush pink feather-trimmed, floor-length gown.
Sharing the outfit in another Instagram post, she wrote: "A Holden – never knowingly understated."
The outfit was similarly popular with fans, who have so far left more than 23,000 'likes'.
Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison commented "WOW", while Heart co-host, the Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts, shared "stunning!"
During her segment yesterday evening, the Britain's Got Talent judge told the camera: "Bon soir. Goedenavond.
"That is good evening in French and Dutch although I've got absolutely no idea which is which.
"This is London calling. What a fantastic show this evening. I am Amanda Holden – I love Eurovision."
