The “Amazing” $21 Solution for Storing Out-of-Season Clothes
One of my goals has been to gradually invest in more expensive clothes. Over the past couple of years, I’ve collected a few luxurious dresses and coats that I now break out for fancy occasions, like weddings or the ballet. Of course, the main downside to owning nice things is that you can’t just throw them in the washer and fold them into a random drawer. My six or so splurge pieces are instead tucked into garment bags, which should be a simple enough solution.
The thing is, every time I look for a specific garment, I have to rummage through all of the black bags to find it, creating a heap of clothes on my bed in the process. I don’t feel I should have to sort through half of my closet every time I want something nice to wear or pack for a trip, so I looked around for an alternative on Amazon. The answer to this problem is quite basic but brilliant nonetheless. I just need some clear garment bags! I found this pack of three for $21, and I’m stocking up.

What Are the MISSLO Clear Garment Bags?
Unlike your typical opaque garment bag, these bags let you see where you’ve stored your garments at all times. Amazon shoppers bought more than 4,000 sets in the past month, with many reviewers citing the bags’ sturdiness as one of the main reasons why they keep repurchasing. Some garment bags can be quite flimsy, resulting in your clothes getting squished among the other items on your closet’s hanging rod. But the MISSLO bags are made of a thick acetate material that maintains its structure and allows you to safely store multiple pieces inside the bag at once. One reviewer even said they were able to fit two comforters inside one bag!
The garment bags are available in four different lengths, so you can opt for the 60-inch length if you’re storing something like a long coat or full-length gown. Or, you can go with the 32-inch length for shorter pieces. That way, the bags won’t take up floor space in your closet that can instead be used to store a shoe rack or carry-on suitcase. Other Amazon reviewers noted that the bags are super convenient for moving and traveling. They’ll protect your clothes if movers accidentally drop them or store them among dusty items. And, the bags will keep your garments free of wrinkles if you pack them in a suitcase. The benefits are practically endless.
What Amazon Reviewers Are Saying
Average Rating: 4.7/5
“Purchased these to use in my closet to protect my dress clothes from dust. They are perfect! They are very spacious, have small openings for the hangers, and breathable. Will purchase more!” — Paula
“I used these to organize all of my hanging clothing and scarves. I tossed a dryer sheet at the bottom of each for that freshly laundered scent. Keeps the kitty hair at bay. Not heavy, well-made, and I can easily see which pieces I’m looking for. I was surprised at the quality. I thought they’d be more flimsy, not at all! Definitely recommend, would buy again.” — rhandi-jayne
“Great for protecting clothes in the closet but also great for keeping clothing organized during a move. So nice to have my clothes smell clean and not like cardboard from the box. These hold an unbelievable amount of clothes. I was able to store so many items in each one.” — PC
Now that you can score a set of three clear garment bags for $21, there’s no better time to upgrade your closet storage system. If you have yet to swap your summer clothes for your winter ones, these will definitely come in handy. I know I’ll be grabbing a couple sets for myself.
