Winter may be winding down, but in many places across the country there's still no escaping the season's extreme weather. And with snowfall and winter storm warnings issued across parts of Ontario, it's a good reminder you likely won't be able to get away with stashing your hats, gloves, or parkas for the season just yet.

If you're someone who works outdoors, or just enjoys getting outside, then you'll know the importance of staying warm when the temperature drops. This heated pair of gloves makes it easy to protect your hands against the chill with a waterproof and insulating design.
These gloves use carbon fibre heating panels to radiate warmth to the entire back of the hand, fingers, and thumb. There are three heating levels to choose from that range between 45 to 60 degrees Celsius and provide heat for up to eight hours at a time.
The exterior surface of the gloves is made of water-resistant fabric, making them perfect for use during light rain and snowfall. The palm and fingers also feature soft faux leather for an anti-slip surface and touchscreen compatible pads on the index fingertips.

While reviews for the AKASO Heated Gloves appear to be somewhat of a mixed bag, shoppers still say that they "work very well" and keep hands comfortable at cold temperatures.
One reviewer noted that even at temperatures of -30C, their "hands were definitely warm." Other shoppers agreed, adding that they provided warmth during activities like skiing and shovelling during cold winter months.
"Heats up well on middle temperature setting," reads one review.
Other shoppers found that while they are "good looking gloves," they may not provide enough warmth for some preferences. Unlike some other brands of heated gloves, they also don't feature a battery indicator that shows how much charge is left.
