This high-voltage pest killer provides reliable indoor/outdoor protection against bugs, without the use of any harmful chemicals. Instead, it uses a 15-watt high-efficiency UV light bulb to attract mosquitoes, flies, moths and other insects.

A protective outer grid helps prevent kids or pets from touching the inner UV bulb, while an inner tray collects insects as they are zapped dead.

'Bye bye mosquitoes!'

While sales of this bug zapper have been spiking on Amazon, so far it's received a 4.1-star average rating from only received a handful of customer reviews. Those who have given it a try say that Kingmazi Bug Zapper is "fantastic for catching all sorts of bugs."

According to reviewers, this trap "works as expected" and helps users enjoy the outdoors.

"I was simply amazed at all the bugs it caught," praised one reviewer, who added that they "highly recommend it" if you're struggling with a bug problem.

"Bye bye mosquitoes!" added another. "Just hang, plug in and enjoy being bug free."

The one downside to note about this bug zapper is that reviewers have found the cord to be too short for use in all settings. For that reason, it may be worth adding an extension cord for extra flexibility.

The verdict

Given that this bug zapper rings in at jus $38, shoppers say it's "great value" for the price. Reviewers agree that it works well to attract mosquitos, and is easy to use.

While it is suitable for use indoors and outdoors, just be sure to have an extension cord handy so that you can place it where it will make the most impact — and not just the closest to the outlet.
