In Amazon's New 'Haul' Storefront, Nothing Costs More Than $20

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links."

If you love the prices of your local dollar store, but prefer the convenience of shopping from home, Amazon has something new that's perfect for bargain hunters. The new shopping hub, Amazon Haul, is full of products all under $20, with some as low as $1.

Right now, Haul is only available on mobile, but it's filled with low-price deals on everything from clothing to household essentials. So what's the catch for these prices being so low? You can't use your Amazon Prime membership for Amazon Haul purchases. This means that items will typically take one to two weeks to arrive, and there's a $25 minimum to get free shipping, or $3.99 shipping fee.

What is Amazon Haul?

This newly launched mobile shopping experience is part of Amazon (and still in a Beta version), but focuses on a variety of products from home, lifestyle, fashion and electronics for an under-$20 price tag. You'll find daily deals on the landing page or browse by category, and you can expect items to be delivered in one to two weeks.

The Haul storefront looks and functions similar to e-tailers like Temu or TikTok Shop, but with the reliability and return policy of Amazon. Admittedly, this new shopping experience can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you are just browsing out of curiosity through the thousands of options. If you've got something specific you are looking for, try drilling down through the different category tabs to find the best deals.

The easiest way to get started is to open the Amazon app on your mobile device, like a phone or iPad, and then type "haul" into the search bar. You can also scan the QR code above to download the app and head straight to these products. You'll know you are in the right place when you see a bright purple header that says "Haul beta."

You might see "Haul" as a tab next to "Groceries" at the top of your Amazon app homepage, but if you aren't seeing this feature, you may need to update your Amazon app to the most recent version.

Is it safe to shop Amazon Haul?

Yes. Amazon screens the sellers that take part in Haul to make sure they are reliable. While most of the items are sold by other retailers, the orders are largely processed and fulfilled by Amazon directly. And no matter who is selling or shipping, all of your orders are covered by Amazon's A-to-Z guarantee. This means if that if the item is lost, comes damaged or defective or doesn't meet the description, it will be refunded or replaced. And if you choose not to keep an item because you don't like it, you can use Amazon's free return policy at any of their 8,000 drop off locations.
