Country singer Gretchen Wilson, best known for her 2004 hit song, "Redneck Woman," was arrested Tuesday for a breach of peace at the Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, according to WFSB.

The Hartford-based news station reports that state police responded to a "minor disturbance" on an incoming flight around 7 p.m.

Following an interview in which troopers said Wilson, 45, became "belligerent," they arrested her and charged her with disturbing the peace. The singer's bail was set for $1,000, and although a court date was set for Wednesday at Enfield Superior Court, WFSB says it's been postponed for next month.

CountryLiving.com reached out to Wilson's representatives for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

The 2004 Grammy Award winner for Best Female Country Vocal Performance was reportedly scheduled to perform a concert at Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, CT, on Wednesday. Last year, after stepping away from the spotlight to raise her daughter and focus on her own physical and mental health, she released her first album in four years, Ready to Get Rowdy. The next tour stop listed on her website is Obetz Zucchinifest in Obetz, OH on September 1.

"I knew I needed the first single to be reminiscent of what fans liked and remembered about me and hopefully still want to hear," Wilson told Taste of Country last year. "I'd been writing for quite a while, but I hadn't gotten that feeling out of a song yet and the words 'ready to get rowdy' just kept going through my head. Finally, I thought to myself, 'Why are you coming back? What do you really want to say?' So I had to answer that question and it was like, 'because I'm ready! I've been off for a few years, I've done what I needed to do at home and it's time. I'm ready to get rowdy.'"
