Welcome to December, Aquarius. During November, your horoscope discussed how the transformative planet Pluto shifted out of Capricorn and into your sign, where it will stay for the next two decades. Last month many people were focused mostly on global affairs and, while true to your Aquarius nature you're still interested in helping your community, your attention turns to more immediate matters this month.
To start, on Friday, December 6, the warrior planet Mars goes retrograde in your seventh House of Partnership. Mars rules sexual energy and is also associated with ambition. When it retrogrades, some people notice shifts in their libido. If this happens to you, as it retrogrades in your seventh House, just be gentle with yourself. If you're feeling less interested in work around this date, try to give into that too and, as much as your schedule allows, give yourself some downtime. On the same day, Friday, December 6, generous Venus enters your sign, Aquarius. This transit blesses all areas of your life with love, so your friendships and romantic relationships will feel more loving. As Venus rules beauty, it's also a great day to treat yourself to at-home beauty routines, like a manicure.
The next day, on Saturday, December 7, Ceres, the asteroid of nurturance, enters your sign, Aquarius. This puts you in a generous and giving mood. It's a time for connecting with your community, an intention that stays with you all month. Also on Saturday, December 7, the dreamy planet Neptune goes direct in its home sign of Pisces and your second House of Possessions. Unfortunately, we truly can't promise any money, but when Neptune lifts in your second House it points to gaining clarity in financial matters. This transit may see welcome news finally coming through or give you insight into how to budget.
On Sunday, December 15, messenger Mercury ends its retrograde and goes direct. Phew! This should ease up any miscommunications, send exes slinking back to their hidey-holes, and help smooth out travel in time for the holidays. Sunday, December 15 also sees the sky light up with a full moon in your pleasurable fifth House. It's a night that, despite Mars retrograde, could lead to super-hot sex. However, at times, full moons can be anxiety-provoking, so you may want to stay home on this date and enjoy a cozy night in.
The sun enters Capricorn on the winter solstice on Saturday, December 21. This is the shortest day of the year, which means it will be quite dark out if you're in the Northern Hemisphere. The cozy vibes continue! This date is also Yule, which you can think of as the Pagan Christmas. In fact, many Christmas traditions, such as decorating trees or lighting candles, come from Yule.

The month winds up when Chiron, an asteroid known as the wounded healer, ends its retrograde and goes direct in your fifth House on Sunday, December 29. When it does, you're able to get in touch with the kind of relaxation and self-care you need, and you can use these observations to make goals for yourself for the new year. It's okay to make resolutions as long as they will make you happy rather than put undue stress on you.
The sky goes dark with a Capricorn new moon, the moon phase associated with fresh starts, in your spiritual 12th House on Monday, December 30. This means that leading up to New Year's Eve, you're going to be not only in touch with your intuition (trust it!) but also feeling called to work with tarot, connect with ancestors, or simply pray.
