Arby’s New Menu Items Include a Beyoncé-Inspired ‘Horsey Sauce’
The sauce is named after the same horse seen on Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' album
Arby’s just created a sauce that Beyoncé fans will love.
On May 2, the sandwich chain dropped a limited-edition condiment called “Chardonneigh’s Horsey Sauce” in honor of the Kentucky Derby (May 4) — and a certain beloved artist!
The frosted white glass wine bottle that the sauce comes in gives a not-so-subtle nod to Beyoncé’s cover art for her hit album Cowboy Carter. The silhouette of a galloping horse is stamped in the center of the bottle. Similarly, Beyoncé’s album cover features her sitting calmly atop a white horse mid-run.
The name is a major tribute to the album: Chardonneigh is the name of the horse on the Grammy-winning singer’s cover. (Justina Omokhua, SVP of Beyoncé's entertainment company, revealed the amazing name on Instagram before the album was released.)
Arby’s sauce itself is a “crisp” twist on the brand’s classic Horsey sauce. The special version is infused with Chardonnay flavoring, per a press release.

Chardonneigh’s Horsey Sauce will only be around for a limited time or $16 on arbys.com/chardonneigh.
Arby’s fun flavors and menu items don't stop with the new condiment. The fast food chain recently unveiled limited-time breaded chicken wraps similar to McDonald's beloved snack wraps.
The three flavors available are honey mustard chicken wrap, ranch chicken wrap and BBQ chicken wrap. All of them are bite-sized and include one chicken tender, lettuce and cheddar inside a soft tortilla.
While the savory snack wraps are on the menu, customers can buy them with a special deal of two for $5.

They’re also bringing back a fan-favorite dessert: the orange cream shake. The sweet treat is made with natural orange flavor and topped with whipped topping for an extra creamy touch.
Arby’s is always looking to make fans happy. In April, the brand declared it was “Free Sandwich Month.” In that vein, customers were eligible to score one free sandwich, wrap or gyro every week through the end of the month with a purchase.
