Artist’s stunning LGBT Disney illustrations show that #LoveIsLove

What if Ariel would rather frolic in the ocean with Jasmine, and Prince Eric and John Smith had something more than dreamy hair?

In celebration of pride month, artist Isaiah Stephens created a different “happily ever after” for iconic Disney princes and princesses to show that #LoveIsLove.

While Disney has a clear lack of LGBT characters, that may eventually change. Back in May, one Twitter user’s proposition to #GiveElsaAGirlfriend went viral with Queen Elsa herself (singer Idina Menzel) backing the campaign. It’d be a rather progressive move for the franchise, but with the growing support, we may just see some LGBT love on the big screen.
