During my 15-year running journey, I have experimented with a plethora of sneakers. But, I hold one brand close to my heart: Asics. The Gel-Cumulus 12 was my first pair of long-distance running shoes that helped me survive high school cross-country season. The midsole cushioning absorbed impact well as I tried to figure out a proper running form. Plus, it kept me stable.
