ATX TV Festival 2024 Lineup: ‘Industry’ Season 3 Premiere, ‘Girls5Eva’ Karaoke, and Julio Torres’ ‘Fantasmas’ Debut
While HBO fans will have to wait even longer for a new season of “Euphoria,” another viral series will be back for its long-awaited third season: “Industry.”
The critically-acclaimed drama set in the world of finance will screen its Season 3 premiere episode at this year’s ATX TV Festival, taking place from May 30 to June 2. Creators/writers/directors/executive producers Mickey Down and Konrad Kay will be joined by cast members including Myha’la Herrold to discuss the making of the latest installment that captures the intensity of international banking.

Fellow upcoming HBO series “Fantasmas” hailing from creator/director/star Julio Torres is also debuting at the Austin-based ATX TV Festival, with Torres discussing his new series. The “Problemista” writer/director/star helms the anthology “Fantasmas” which is described as being “little films” following “eerie comedic stories” as Torres tries to find a missing golden oyster.
HBO and Max will additionally host a screening and Q&A for spinoff “Pretty Little Liars: Summer School,” the follow-up to Season 1 of “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.” Fans will get an advance look at a new episode, followed by a conversation with the creatives and cast. Panelists will be announced soon.
MGM+’s new crime thriller “Hotel Cocaine” debuts at the festival as well.
The Duplass Brothers Production, whose indie TV series “Penelope” debuted at Sundance 2024, will host a panel discussion titled “Adventures in Indie TV” with Mark Duplass and Mel Eslyn. Sony Pictures Television presents “The Art of World-Building” discussion about the crafts of “For All Mankind,” “Justified: City Primeval,” and “Gen V.”
Further programming highlights for the annual festival include a “Fargo” screening and conversation with Noah Hawley and a “Girls5Eva” karaoke night presented by Universal Studio Group with producer Meredith Scardino.
“The History of TV” presented by RCA marks a conversation exploring the history of television over 100+ years of RCA, from the birth of broadcasting, to the founding of NBC, to the first color TV, and beyond. Confirmed panelists include Tony Bozzini (President, Established Inc.) and Tim Sarnoff (former Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Technicolor and grandson of the iconic leader of RCA, David Sarnoff), with more to be announced at a later date.
