Aubrey Plaza Goes Campy in Yellow Loewe Dress With Giant Pin at Emmy Awards 2023
Aubrey Plaza arrived on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards on Monday in a Loewe dress and Alexandre Birman shoes. The actress was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work as Harper Spiller in HBO’s “The White Lotus.” The award ended up going to Plaza’s co-star Jennifer Coolidge.
Plaza’s Loewe satin gown featured a slim-fitting skirt with a straight, narrow cut and a unique, square bodice that had a giant gold pin struck through it. The light yellow, floor-length number is from Loewe’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection.

Styled by Jessica Paster, Plaza paired the gown with Alexandre Birman pointed-toe pumps and accessorized with EFFY jewelry, including a selection of rings and glittering hoop earrings.
Plaza is familiar with statement looks on the red carpet. The actress attended the 2023 Met Gala in a white gown from Stella McCartney’s fall 2023 collection that featured large cutouts on the bodice and hip, contrasting against black, leather opera gloves.
The Primetime Emmys, presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, honor excellence in the television industry. Comedian Anthony Anderson hosts the 75th annual ceremony, which is broadcast on Fox. Although the awards show typically takes place in September, the 2023 Emmys were postponed until January due to the concurrent Screen Actors and Writers Guild strikes.
