Authentic Brands Names First Head of Australia, New Zealand
Authentic Brands Groups has named Lim Mi-Kyoung senior vice president, head of Australia and New Zealand.
She will oversee the company’s regional expansion in that area, focusing on brand development and seeking to build long-term growth. Mi-Kyoung is Authentic’s first employee in the region and will build a team dedicated to growing the company’s portfolio of brands there.

“As our business continues to grow across the region, we are bringing in top talent to usher our brands and open the door to new opportunities to launch new categories and distribution channels,” said Wesley Chu, executive vice president of APAC at Authentic. “Lim brings an extensive track record of driving brand value and building lasting relationships with best-in-class manufacturers and retailers. We are excited about the impact she will have on our portfolio as we unlock the value of our brands in this untapped market.”
Mi-Kyoung has more than 25 years of experience in the Australian licensing and branded entertainment businesses. She has worked at WP Brands, Gaffney Licensing and Hallmark Australia managing brands such as Netflix, Disney, Warner Bros. and Hasbro.
