On Tuesday, the Canadian musician, 38, shared a carousel of black-and-white photos from Paris Fashion Week — her first public appearance since confirming her split from Mod Sun.
In the photos, Lavigne wore a monochrome look, featuring a black dress paired with an oversized Vetements blazer, platform booties and sunglasses.
Her Vetements blazer — named the Hidden Message Blazer ($5,500 CAD) — featured phrases like “unbreak my heart,” “trust your instincts,” "be yourself" and “be patient, good things take time.”
"PFW," she captioned the snaps alongside a black heart emoji.
Lavigne also left a comment on her post that reads: "This year xx."
In the comments, fans praised the "Sk8r Boi" singer for her stunning, post-breakup look.

On Wednesday, Lavigne wore another Vetements look with a strongly-worded message at the Courrèges fall/winter show.
She wore an oversized T-shirt that read “I’m not doing s—t today,” paired with thigh-high boots, a long coat and teased hair.
Lavigne and Mod Sun began dating in early 2021 and announced their engagement in April 2022, with a series of photos taken on a boat ride in Paris, where Mod Sun popped the question.
Earlier this week in an emotional Instagram message, Mod Sun, 35, opened up about his and Lavigne's split after dating for nearly two years.
“In one week my entire life completely changed. I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up and always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken,” he wrote, followed by a broken heart emoji.
"Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back. See you on stage," he added.
Lavigne's representatives confirmed the breakup to Page Six last week, but the news allegedly came as a shock to Mod Sun.
“They were together and engaged as of three days ago when Mod left for tour, so if anything has changed that’s news to him,” his representative told People at the time.
