Avril Lavigne is in her "modern style" era.

On Thursday, the Canadian pop-punk star, 38, took to Instagram with a carousel of photos posing in a metallic, black long-sleeve top with her name embroidered on the collar. She paired it with oversized cargo pants with denim patch detailing and white Christian Louboutin stilettos.

The "Sk8er Boi" singer reprised her iconic long hairstyle with a wavy twist, and donned her signature smokey eyeliner.

In the caption, Lavigne paid tribute to her timeless footwear in two words.

"Omg. Shoes!" she quipped.

Fans met Lavigne's post with praise for her stunning look and evolving style.

"You look amazing. I love how your style is changing but still so on-brand. New era vibes," an Instagram user wrote.

Another fan commented: "You are glowing!"

"Beautiful as always! I love that rock’n’roll makeup, that amazing outfit and the long hair. You rock!" one person added.

"Hip, chic, modern style," a fan weighed in while another commented, "Pop-punk princess 2.0."

"Omg, your outfit is perfect," someone else chimed in.

"So gorgeous. I love the shoes and the pants so much. Such a look!" penned another.

Last month, fans sounded off about Lavigne's "new style era" after she shared another stunning set of photos on Instagram amid her European tour.

The "Complicated" songstress posed in front of a sheet of metal in an all-black leather ensemble that included a belted pleated mini skirt, a collared racing jacket and a pair of studded stiletto boots.

Alongside her usual dark and dramatic eye makeup, Lavigne wore her hair in half-up-half-down space buns.

"We back in the UK," she captioned the post with a British flag emoji.

"I'm absolutely loving your new style era. Such a slay," an Instagram user commented. "This style of yours is so perfect. Is it some spoiler of a new era maybe?" another fan pointed out.

"Pop-punk queen of England! I love this look on you so much," an Instagram user shared.
