The 'awkward' reason Ariel Winter always shows her booty

Modern Family star Ariel Winter often shares revealing snaps on social media, and now she has hit back at critics who’ve taken digs at her for flashing her flesh.

Taking to Twitter, the 19-year-old says it’s not as though she intentionally goes out of her way to put her curves on show, but that’s the way her clothes fit.

“I literally do not try and show my ass when I wear shorts…my ass just eats them up and then I don’t notice…awkward af,” Winter writes.

One of her recent Instagram videos may very well be what inspired her tweet; on August 31, Winter posted a controversial video of herself twerking — in short shorts.

This isn’t the first time the actress has spoken up about her revealing clothing. In July, she tweeted the following “small rant.”

It’s clear that Winter is not at all like her nerdy, buttoned-up Modern Family character, Alex Dunphy — and she certainly doesn’t want you to forget it.
