A Kansas baker is looking for a diamond from her wedding ring, which she believes may have been baked into one of the cookie she sells at her store.

Dawn "Sis" Monroe, owner of Sis’ Sweets Cookies & Café in Leavenworth, told ABC affiliate KMBC the diamond may have fallen into some dough while she was baking on Friday, April 5.

Monroe estimated the diamond costs more than $4,000. She said the ring has been on her finger for 36 years.

Monroe believes the diamond fell into a batch of either chocolate chip, sugar, or peanut butter cookies, according to KMBC.

"I was crying, and all he could say was 'You still have me!' so that made it all better,” the business owners explained.

Now, Sis Sweets Cookies & Café is warning customers to be cautious when they consume their cookies. "Mainly cause I didn't want anybody to break a tooth," Monroe said.
