  • Bastille frontman Dan Smith is hitting out at ticket touts as the band announces a UK arena tour starting November 6.

  • The tour will benefit Youth Music's Rescue the Roots campaign, supporting grassroots music.

  • Smith is encouraging fans to participate in government consultation aimed at fairer ticket pricing, citing “frustrating” inflated resale prices for artists like Taylor Swift and Oasis as examples.

  • He has partnered with O2 to launch ‘Stamp It Tout’, a platform to help fans avoid scams, and supports a 10 per cent price cap on resale tickets.

  • O2's research suggests touts cost fans an extra £145m annually.
