Hulu's highly anticipated new season of The Bear officially dropped today. And while the second season has already received its fair share of praise from critics and fans alike, the main topic of many convos (on the internet, at least) is Will Poulter's debut on the series.

To put it plainly: viewers are thirsting after The Bear's smokeshow pastry chef. Poulter, who appears in the fourth episode of the season as a Dutch pastry chef and mentor to Marcus, has the internet all hot and bothered.

"Yes yes Jeremy Allen White, but may I give you The Bear Season 2's major thirst object: Tattoo'd pastry chef Will Poulter," entertainment writer Esther Zuckerman wrote on Twitter.

Fellow fans of the series agree: "Will Poulter in the bear s2. look at his fine ass i cannot—," one user tweeted. Another chimed in, writing, "the sexiest thing #TheBear ever did (which is saying something because of how s1 went viral here) was bring Will Poulter on as a pastry chef in s2." A third fan commented, "[I] wasn't planning on watching The Bear so soon but just learned about tattooed pastry chef Will Poulter and I'm SWEATING."

This sums it up too:

Of course, Poulter's, ahem, hotness, isn't the only thing that the new season of The Bear has going for it. In fact, critics are calling it even better than its rookie season. According to a Los Angeles Times review, it's "chaotic and quiet, meditative and loud" and... "perfect," while Vulture writer Kathryn VanArendonk tweeted, "I was a little skeptical, and then I was interested, and then I was distracted, and eventually I was in love."

"The Bear season two is great—often better, richer, and more satisfying than its first—and TV viewers are fortunate to have it," VanArendonk wrote. "But this season is a depiction of what that greatness can cost, and it remains an open question whether the greatness is worth it for the people who make the show."

Moral of the story? You should watch The Bear for its powerful storytelling AND Will Poulter's sexy tattoos.
