Celebrities are often admired for their stellar skincare, and while many stars shell out the big bucks for a flawless glass-skin look, there are some celebs who swear by products that are quite a steal.

Musician, singer and author Belinda Carlisle has been in the industry for over 40 years, and there's one trusted skincare product that has stayed by her side for just as long. It's the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, or as she likes to call it, her "miracle cure."

The 62-year-old lead singer of the Go-Go’s told The Strategist: "My skin is extremely, extremely dry. But when I put this on at night, it no longer feels dry the next morning. I use it on my face, my cuticles, my feet— I rub it all over them, then put socks on to let it soak in. It’s a miracle cure."

The award-winning moisturizer was created to soothe and protect skin. It is celebrated for its instant ability to soothe, moisturize and hydrate the skin. The Eight Hour name was actually coined by a devoted Elizabeth Arden client who used the cream on her child’s grazed knee, and eight hours later it was miraculously healed.

“There’s a reason why it’s been around for so long,” the singer continued. “A lot of the girls in the Go-Go’s use it, too, and have been for probably just as long.”

Carlisle continues to swear by this product that she says has changed her life. “I’ve been using this for 40-odd years. It’s one of those classic standbys. [It] really did change my life.”

Makeup artists all over the world also use the Eight Hour Cream on legs, lips, eyelids, eyebrows and cuticles. Reviewers are also loving the miracle product that works as more than just a moisturizer. Many love that this product doubles as a lip balm and works to tame brows. The cream has more than 3,700 customer reviews on Amazon, and a 4.5-star rating.

"The cream itself is fantastic. A real does-all miracle cream," one reviewer wrote.

Shoppers have noted that the affordable cream is a versatile product to have on hand, since it's "particularly great for dry and flaky skin, uneven skin tone/redness, tattoos/healing skin, mild sunburn/sun exposure and (oddly enough, but I promise you it works…) eyebrow styling!"

Others have noted that it even works well on extremely dry areas, including chapped lips, cracked heels, and peeling cuticles.

Another reviewer wrote: "I massage the cream on my heels and feet nightly and the results are amazing in such a short time of using this cream."

Some reviewers have found the Eight Hour Cream to have a powerful scent that may not be everyone's cup of tea. If you're looking for a multipurpose skincare pick that stands the test of time, this may be worth checking out for yourself.
