Bella Thorne poses in 'naked' dress for 'Morbius' red carpet
Bella Thorne turned heads at a screening of Morbius in a dress that looked like she was wearing nothing at all.
The former Disney star appeared on the red carpet at the Wednesday fan screening for the upcoming Jared Leto Marvel movie, sporting a skin-tight red dress that featured an outline of a naked woman. The back of the dress, which was designed by Sergio Castaño Peña, even depicts a lower back tattoo. Thorne, who recently starred in the Amazon series Paradise City, shared photos from the event on her Instagram Stories, including several with her date for the evening — her older sister Dani Thorne.
Thorne isn't the only Bella to wear the dress. Bella Hadid took to TikTok to share a video of herself on the very same day, wearing a multicolored version of the optical illusion gown.
The Midnight Sun star, 24, is no stranger to head-turning fashion choices. She recently posed in a black dress with major cutouts on Instagram. Thorne captioned her post about the look, "LBD. Will never be over this fit."
Fans also loved the look, with one writing, "That dress looks amazing on you," and another adding, "That dress is EVERYTHING."
While Thorne loves making daring fashion choices, she recently spoke out about the frustrating double standard she faces as a woman when she shows her body. She spoke to The Daily Beast about how despite "not doing bad things," she is often considered a controversial figure in pop culture.
"Of course, I am a woman, and that definitely plays a part in it," she explained. "If I post in a bikini, it's 'she's a slut,' but if a man posts shirtless on a beach, it's 'F*** yeah, bro.' If a man posts with a different girl every other day, it's 'F*** yeah, bro, keep getting that p****,' but if I'm in a three-year relationship, and then break up, and then get into another three-year relationship, it's 'Wow, Bella Thorne, she's a ho. Look at her.' I'm like, what? I've been in long-term relationships my whole life!"
