Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas Have Reportedly Broken Up

They've reached a new stage in their relationship.
After a summer of pap (er, pup) walks and nearly a year together, Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas have reportedly split, though sources close to the couple insist that the decision is mutual and amicable. The two were first linked after filming Deep Water together in New Orleans and things seemed to get more serious when Affleck and de Armas took a trip to Cuba together in March 2020 and, later, a second getaway to Costa Rica.
"Ben is no longer dating Ana," a source told People. "She broke it off. Their relationship was complicated. Ana doesn't want to be Los Angeles based and Ben obviously has to since his kids live in Los Angeles."

"This is something that was mutual and something that is completely amicable," another source added. "They are in different points in their lives; there is deep love and respect there. Ben continues to want to work on himself. He has three jobs lined up and he's a solid father at home. They are both happy with where they are in their lives."
De Armas confirmed the relationship on social media back in April when the two of them celebrated her 32nd birthday. Previously reports surfaced saying that de Armas was getting closer to Affleck's children, who he shares with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

"Ana seems to love being around his kids. Everyone has been getting along great. Ana is making an effort to get to know his kids," a source said in late 2020. Along with those reports, news of the couple moving in together also made headlines after photos of Affleck helping de Armas pack up her home hit the internet.
