Ben Affleck Leveled Up a Cozy Fit With Some of His Rarest Nike Dunks Yet

Ben Affleck's sneakerhead credentials are well established at this point. The two-time Oscar winner's affection for great shoes has gone far beyond the demands of promoting his Jordan-and-Nike origin story Air, and the man who once brazenly wore unreleased Travis Scott Jordan 1s on late-night television continues to step out in a whole lot of seriously impressive kicks.

His most recent grail showcase? A pair of extremely limited-edition Nike SB Dunks that only a handful of people call their own. Affleck was snapped earlier this week walking around Los Angeles wearing the hugely coveted Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low “Family and Friends” edition, which were limited to a few hundred pairs and have surfaced on the resale market for several thousand dollars. A hype collaboration between the Dutch artist Piet Parra and Nike, the shoe was released in 2021 to widespread acclaim and, to this day, a ton of collector demand.

In typical Ben Affleck fashion, this wasn’t just an occasion to show off an impressive pair of sneakers. He used the Parra Dunks as the stylish finishing touch to a cozy winter outfit, replete with baggy denim, a red corduroy jacket, and a Fair Isle zip-up sweater that screams casual comfort. It’s an ideal ensemble for an unseasonably brisk January afternoon in California, exuding both laid-back charm and sophisticated bookishness. The sneakers, with their alternating left and right splashes of blue and red, add a playful vibe that matches the sweater and jacket without feeling too samey.
