Carrie’s triumphant return

Five months after a fall outside her Nashville home left her with a broken wrist and needing forty stitches for a facial injury, Carrie Underwood returned to the spotlight. Despite warning fans that she may look different, Underwood looked – perfect. Proving that even on her worst day, Underwood is better than all of us. She stunned in a sheer dress with floral detailing that featured both a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit.

The biggest names in country music took over Las Vegas on Sunday night for the 53rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

The awards were hosted once again by the legendary Reba McEntire and featured performances by Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, and Carrie Underwood- who returned to the spotlight for the first time since requiring 40 stitches for a facial injury.

Stars brought their fashion A-game to the red carpet with sequins, pops of colour and trademark big hair taking centre stage.
