Best and worst holiday retail return policies in Canada

Last year, CBC reported that $46 billion dollars worth of goods are returned to retailers every year — and much of that is done during the holiday season.

Some retailers have excellent year-round return policies so they don’t need to make special concessions during the holidays. Others try to step up their return game for a short period of time to accommodate gift returns/exchanges or just consumers with buyer’s remorse. It’s a lot of information to sift through, especially if you don’t have time to read the fine print but we’ve done some of the legwork for you.
