Bill Nye Is the Most-searched Model During Fall 2025 New York Fashion Week, According to Google

Bill Nye was the top trending model and attendee during New York Fashion Week 2025, according to a report from Google Trends. The former TV presenter and host of “Bill Nye the Science Guy” hit the catwalk on Feb. 4 ahead of official NYFW events and shows.

Nye walked the runway for the ninth annual Blue Jacket Fashion Show, an event that supports prostate cancer awareness. The event benefited Zero — The End of Prostate Cancer, an organization that provides information and resources to the cancer community. The event was sponsored by Johnson & Johnson with support from Local Initiatives Support Corporation.

Nye wore the navy oversized Olympic constellation bomber jacket courtesy of Thom Browne on the runway. The jacket was paired with black trouser shorts, lace-up patent leather shoes and black socks. Nye also wore a white shirt with the ensemble.

The former mechanical engineer outpaced social media star Kaylor Martin, Holden Fraser (the son of Oscar-winning actor Brendan Fraser, who walked for Todd Snyder), model Irina Shayk and model Kendall Jenner among the most-searched top trending models and attendees in the U.S. in the last week, per Google Trends.

The top trending designers and brands included Christian Cowan, taking the top spot, followed by Christian Siriano, Brandon Maxwell, Vettese and Alice + Olivia. Calvin Klein claimed the spot as the top trending “fall collection” and fashion show of the past week.

New York Fashion Week featured lead-up events, including the annual Blue Jacket Fashion Show, prior to the fashion week’s official started on Feb. 6. New York Fashion Week 2025, which featured collections like Thom Browne’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear, Michael Kors’ fall 2025 ready-to-wear and more, concluded on Feb. 11.
