This "Bingo Card" Hack Makes Setting 2025 Goals So Fun
It’s officially 2025! I love this feeling of getting to completely start fresh in the new year. Whatever happened in the past is gone, and it’s time to move forward. I usually take the first few days of January to reflect on what I accomplished over the past year and what I would like to achieve this year. I set goals, intentions, and a word to live by to make sure I go into the new year with the right mindset.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been seeing people all over TikTok creating their own 2025 bingo cards — either on paper or on Canva — to organize their goal-setting for the upcoming year. It’s a super creative way to organize your thoughts and plans. And it makes it extra fun to revisit your goals throughout the year — each time you achieve one, you get to mark it off until you get bingo!
How to Design a 2025 Goals Bingo Card on Paper
Making your bingo card on paper is more of a detailed and time-consuming task, but it allows for tons of imagination and creativity. The entire design is up to you, so you can do whatever you want without the limitations of the internet. I think the best way to go about an on-paper bingo card is to use a ruler to draw your grid (bingo cards are typically five squares by five squares), and sketch out your drawings and writing using pencil first. Then grab a bunch of pens or markers in all different colors to begin the fun.
For example, @kaylaramn made a simple but still colorful and super neat bingo card with adorable pink bows on the top edges. The TIkToker includes goals like “Hit 10,000 steps daily!” with a drawing of sneaker footprints. One commenter replied, “Omg saving this for inspo!! Love this idea.”
How to Design a 2025 Goals Bingo Card on Your Computer
Want to go the digital route and use Canva? No fear, @laurahatesmushrooms posted a step-by-step tutorial on how to create your own bingo card template. The TikToker goes in-depth showing you how to add a grid, create headings, fill in the boxes, and add images.
But if you’re feeling kind of lazy, no worries — Canva creators have already begun to upload their 2025 bingo card templates to the website, like this modern minimalistic one by The Angel Creative.
I’d personally go with someone’s premade Canva template. I’m not the most artistic, so digital is the way to go for me. I also know it would take me hours to create my own template, so this is the most efficient use of my time. I would choose something simple and use thin-lined, minimalist graphics so my card wouldn’t be too crowded and I could focus more on the goals and less on the appearance.
How to Fill in Your 2025 Goals Bingo Card
You can truly put down anything as a goal, big or small!
In the examples above, @kaylaramn wrote in smaller plans, like, “Read AT LEAST 3 books this year,” as well as bigger ones, like, “Save $1,500 by the end of 2025.” Meanwhile, @laurahatesmushrooms’s example includes items like, “Go to 3 concerts,” and, “Host a dinner party.”
Here are some of my own goals for 2025 I’d put on my bingo card:
Travel to at least eight different countries while I’m studying abroad.
Take a Pilates reformer class.
Be more confident in myself and my decisions.
