Even though the Super Bowl was over a week ago, it seems Blake Lively is still reminiscing about the big event. The mom of four shared a gallery of photos from her fun outing, revealing that it was the “first time” she’s “ever” been away from her kids. Naturally, her husband Ryan Reynolds trolled her appropriately in her absence.

Lively took to Instagram to share a series of pics from the Super Bowl extravaganza, including some fire hotel room selfies, a pre-show selfie with her glam team, and close-up details of her outfit and amazing jewelry, which included a Deadpool friendship charm bracelet in honor of Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine character. In her caption, she joked about her red-hot Adidas tracksuit, sharing that she even went clubbing after the game.

“Last week I left my kids for the first time ever and wore pants that were shoes,” she began in the caption of her post. “I took pictures upside down and had no clue. I treated a friendship bracelet like a Flat Stanley for my husband like I didn’t realize it wasn’t ‘07. I borrowed more jewelry than the skeleton in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. And I went clubbing. Now I know what my episode of the Twilight Zone would look like.”

For his part, Reynolds shared a photo of himself watching the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer in front of the fireplace at home during the game on Feb. 11, captioning the post: “Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer? Also has anyone seen my wife?”

Of course, the couple share four daughters together: James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4. They welcomed a fourth daughter in February 2023, and it seems that Lively fully enjoyed the chance to sneak away for a bit and enjoy some time with her famous pals while Reynolds held down the fort back home.

Fellow moms in the comments section of Lively’s post were hyping up her quality kid-free time. “Every mom should have the opportunity to do that with their best friends” wrote one person. Another joked that “mother is still mothering even though her kids aren’t there.” Yet another wrote: “Who run the world? Moms.” And to that, we wholeheartedly agree.
