Blake Lively does BDSM housewife cosplay in two(!) retro latex dresses
Blake Lively is back with a new film: Another Simple Favor.
It's the follow-up to the 2018 mystery drama A Simple Favor — which features Blake Lively as a devious, martini-swilling PR exec (who wears fabulous suits) and Anna Kendrick as a naive, eager-to-please mommy blogger. The duo have both returned for what critics are saying is stylish, fun and totally OTT.
We're excited, to the say the least. The film has just shown at SXSW festival, ramping up the excitement — not least bc Blake was looking fab.
The 37-year-old rocked a naked dress to end all naked dresses: a pale pink, button-up latex dress with short sleeves and a full skirt. The look was designed by Reneé Masoomian, who outfitted Lady Gaga for her 'Abracadabra' video.
The look was channelling a vintage, 1950s tea dress and was worn with retro, pinup-style hair.
Later, she removed the tea dress to reveal another latex fit (also by Reneé Masoomian): a plunging, strapless, hook-closure corset which descended into a full-length skirt. The hem of the skirt was decorated with a black, lace pattern.
The look was topped off with a pair of black, peep-toe high heels with appliqué pom-poms.
We're super obsessed with this look! One part housewife, another part BDSM Barbie, it's a seriously iconic combo.
