Right alongside Taylor Swift, Blake Lively was one of the main events at the Super Bowl — you know, aside from the game itself. Lively got glammed up in a head-to-toe red ensemble, cheered for every point the Kansas City Chiefs secured during the game, and appeared to have the time of her life with her pop star bestie by her side. And now fans of Lively know why, as she revealed via Instagram on February 20 that nights out without her four children are few and far between.

"Last week I left my kids for the first time ever and wore pants that were shoes," the actress captioned a carousel post with photos from the big game day, which featured her getting dolled up with help from a glam team, showing off her Adidas tracksuit, layers of chunky bracelets and more.

She continued, "I took pictures upside down and had no clue. I treated a friendship bracelet like a Flat Stanley for my husband, like I didn’t realize it wasn’t ‘07. I borrowed more jewelry than the skeleton in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. And I went clubbing. Now I know what my episode of The Twilight Zone would look like."

Lively shares her four children — daughters James, Inez, and Betty, and a fourth child welcomed in February 2023 — with husband Ryan Reynolds.

The spouses had additional fun during their night out by posting a series of jokes on Instagram, with Reynolds asking his millions of followers the day of the Super Bowl, "Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer? Also, has anyone seen my wife?" Reynolds actually attended the game, which took place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and later said he "found my wife @blakelively" in his Instagram Story later in the evening.

Lively, however, kept the joke going on Feb. 12. "Honey, I’m home,” she wrote, trolling his post. “My day was good. Yours?”

The Gossip Girl actress capped her night out on Super Bowl Sunday with a quick run-in with Kansas City Chief quarterback Patrick Mahomes, telling the football star that he was "amazing" during the game.
