On October 29, Blake attended the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City where she turned up and out in the beauty department. Accompanying her signature bouncy blowout created by Jennifer Yepez, Blake consulted her longtime friend and go-to MUA, Carolina Gonzalez to master the full-face beat.

After the red carpet event, Blake credited Carolina's work via her Instagram Story, saying that the makeup trick carried out made her lips look 'huge'.
'When @gonzalezbeauty does the Gen Z eye shadow lip trick to make your lips look huge...' Blake wrote to introduce her two-part picture story, followed by a nostalgic throwback to her teen beauty antics.
'But then... You wash off your make-up and accept that you're a millennial girl who, in high school used to wear lip gloss with alarming amounts of chilli peppers inside for a plump because we were THAT committed to bad ideas.
