From Woman's Day

We sure can't get enough of lovebirds Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. The couple released the music video for their duet 'Nobody But You' this week and it's nothing short of heartwarming. Excuse us as we decorate our Valentine's Day trees and belt this song out to our loved ones—and also our pets because Fido and Mr. Whiskers sure can't resist a love song being added to their pet playlists on Spotify.

Shelton and Stefani are like two teenagers experiencing love for the first time, and this video illustrates that. You'll see scenes of the couple singing on stage together, all gussied up like the stars they truly are, as well as snippets of their personal life together. The video shows Shelton and Stefani on a date eating French fries at what looks to be a burger joint from the '90s. There's also clips of the couple smiling and laughing together as they drive in a car, and laying on a black leather couch together and petting the dog. While the video doesn't show footage of their actual home, it shows what life together is like for the couple after the cameras have been turned off. As we know from their New Year's celebration, they keep things low-key, often opting for laid-back nights at the bar, rather than fancy dinner dates. Shelton and Stefani's romance embody the idea that it's not about about what you're doing together, but rather who you're actually doing it with.

The video later shows the couple, in different clothes, relaxing on a green couch, and petting the same dog. This could either mean they're visiting each other's places, or a time lapse of the pair as they move in together and start picking furniture out together. The video also includes scenes of a house being built, hinting that this is the place where they'll live happily ever together.

The lyrics are insanely sweet. "I wanna say it now, wanna make it clear. For only you and God to hear. I don’t wanna live without you. I don’t wanna even breathe. I don’t wanna dream about you." Stefani posted the video to her Instagram account and wrote "Some things u just can’t dream up."

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are both scheduled to perform at the 2020 Grammy Awards together on January 26. It would only be fair if they treat us to this tune. As for now, we'll just keep trying to calculate when Shelton can finally ask her to be his bride.
