BND photojournalist shares his favorites photos of 2024
Photojournalist Joshua Carter joined the BND in August 2023 as part of a Military Veterans in Journalism fellowship program. He was hired full-time that next January and, with the start of the new year, has shared his favorite photos from the last 12 months.
Due to the nature of photojournalism, the best photos aesthetically are not always the best to tell a story, and some of these photos never appeared in print or online.
