Boston Dynamics’ robot dog given life-like costume makeover

Boston Dynamics terrified the public with their robot’s impressive capabilities, and now the technology has had an upgrade - and a makeover.

Now named Sparkles, the robot wears a blue dog costume, and has the ability to behave like its real-life counterpart.

In a video posted to social media, the original ‘Spot’ robot meets Sparkles, and the two share a peck before breaking out into a dance routine.

While some have been left mind-blown by the robot’s capabilities, others say it’s only adding to their nightmares.
