The British Pullman Train Just Unveiled a New Dinner Series With Michelin-Starred Chefs
Michelin-starred chefs are hopping aboard the British Pullman.
Belmond’s luxury sleeper train just announced a new chef dinner series that’s launching this spring. The culinary adventure will kick off in April and feature four journeys spearheaded by a rotating lineup of acclaimed U.K.-based icons, each bringing their take on the country’s gastronomic scene to the table. During the round-trip voyage, guests will enjoy a seasonal five-course tasting menu, paired with a Champagne reception and fine wines hand-selected by a sommelier.

The series will start on April 18, 2025, with chef Theo Randall returning to the Belmond train. Best known for his rustic Italian fare and for being awarded a Michelin star at the River Café in London, Randall will be serving up a five-course menu highlighting the best springtime ingredients. Then he’ll be handing the torch over to chef Phil Howard on May 22. Howard, whose held two Michelin stars for nearly 20 years, has a more modern French cooking style. So, expect lots of technique complemented by balanced flavors and pristine plating.
The British Pullman will depart for a third time on June 13 with chef Andrew Wong at the helm. Wong, a Michelin two-star chef, has made a name for himself by combining regional Chinese cuisine with local British ingredients that celebrate his cultural heritage. After making his debut, Indian chef Atul Kochhar will join the train for its final departure on October 24. Kochhar, the chef patron of the first Indian restaurant to earn a Michelin star, blends British flavors with regional Indian cuisine.
“We are excited to launch a new chef series which showcases the various facets of the British culinary landscape on the British Pullman, with internationally acclaimed chefs expanding its presence into new destinations and new fusion cuisines,” British Pullman general manager Craig Moffat said in a press statement. “The series is a true celebration of the fine-dining experience that has made the train a cherished icon, seamlessly blending its rich heritage with the dynamic evolution of modern British cuisine.”
Prices for the celebrity chef dinner series start at £565 (or $689) per person.
