British Rapper Stormzy Wore a Serious Patek Philippe Nautilus on the Red Carpet

From actor Damon Idris to rocker Jared Leto, the great and the good attended this week’s Vogue World event in London, bringing some of the most refreshing menswear looks our tired eyes have seen in a long time. Among them was British rapper Stormy, and the “Vossi Bop” writer’s wrist game stood out among the rest.

The 30-year-old performer appeared on the second annual Vogue World red carpet on Wednesday at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane. He wore a regal Ferragamo tuxedo that fit like a glove with a collarless blazer and a bold white-satin sash that draped over his chest and shoulder. Black loafers completed the look, alongside minimalistic rings and a Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar that retails for $151,400.

Known as Ref. 5740/1G, the 40 mm watch case is crafted from white gold and houses a blue sunburst dial that effortlessly popped against Stormzy’s dark tailoring. Gold applied hour markers with luminescent coating top the dial next to day, date, month, leap year, and 24-hour displays. The piece’s starry moonphase indicator is another standout feature that seems fitting for a swanky night out among A-list celebs and industry heavyweights.

Additionally, Stormzy’s Patek is powered by the self-winding caliber 240 Q, which runs at a frequency of 21,600 vph. The ultra-thin movement provides the rapper with a max 48-hour power reserve and can be viewed through the openwork caseback, which showcases its sum of 27 jewels and a 22k gold off-center mini-rotor. A white-gold bracelet with Patek’s patented fold-over clasp completes the watch’s sleek design.

Other emerging talents joined Stomzy on the buzzy red carpet, including names like Sex Education’s Ncuti Gatwa, Grand Turismo’s Archie Madekwe, and Riverdale’s Cole Sprouse. Each of their looks, among others, alludes to the industry’s more fluid approach to menswear, replete with floral accents and flowing silhouettes. Breaking style norms can be fun, and these gents are doing it with confidence.
