Britney Spears Seemingly Responds to Justin Timberlake's Non-Apology
Looks like Britney Spears hopped on Instagram and responded to Justin Timberlake's non-apology. To catch everyone up, Justin performed in New York City this week and appears to have started "Cry Me a River" by saying "Iâd like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely fucking nobody."
A kinda!!!! statement considering Britney had literally JUST posted an Instagram where she wrote "I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book" and "I am in love with Justin Timberlakeâs new song 'Selfish.'"
Justin Timberlake while performing in New York City last night:
âIâd like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f**king nobody.â https://t.co/XTNsOoy6Odâ Pop Crave (@PopCrave) February 1, 2024
Britney has since made her Instagram private, but she reportedly shared a photo of a basketball hoop, along with the caption "Someone told me someone was talking s**t about me on the streets!!! Do you want me to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time??? I'm not sorry!!!!"
Her post (which doesn't reference Justin by name) comes amid a source telling Page Six that Justin is âseethingâ over drama with Britney âovershadowing his new music,â and that he'd "hoped the backlash [from Spearsâ memoir] wouldâve blown over by now so that he could focus on his new album, which heâs very excited about, but every day is something new."
Anyway, now seems like a good time to mention that Britney's 2011 song "Selfish" is topping charts in the wake of Justin dropping a new song of the same name, bye!
