Brooklyn Beckham's latest Instagram cooking tutorial on how to make the ultimate Sunday roast has horrified fans with beef that they said looked raw.

David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son, who now resides in the US, wanted to share a traditional British recipe with his followers, but seemingly hadn't counted on everyone having an opinion about how a roast should be made.

Beckham was joined by professional chef Kevin Lee for the Instagram video, who said: "Sunday roast..."

"But we're making it Michelin," added Beckham.

"...with Brooklyn Peltz Beckham," finished Lee.

The pair held up an enormous joint of beef which they then slathered in two blocks of butter, also showing potatoes roasting in a huge amount of oil and a Yorkshire pudding recipe that appeared to be mixed the wrong way around.

As Beckham carved the beef, he showed off a startlingly pink piece of meat and smilingly told viewers: "Just like I have it in England. The best Sunday roast."

But many of those watching the video were shocked at how undercooked the beef was.

One person commented: "That looks very raw."

Someone else added: "Might as well bite the cow while it’s grazing."

Another person joked: "A good vet could bring that back to life."

Others were not sure about the large amounts of butter involved in the recipe, with one person commenting: "recipe 'how to cook butter'."

Someone else added: "That’s just a reckless amount of butter for that much meat."

Viewers also felt that he had got the other elements of the classic meal wrong, criticising everything from the Yorkshire puddings to carrots being the only vegetables on the plate.

As Beckham lifted a tray of Yorkshire puddings out of the oven and proudly said: "These are proper Yorkshire puddings, one viewer commented: "Those were not proper Yorkshire puddings."

Another disappointed viewer wrote: "The only veg he has is carrots with some barely cooked meat and watery a*** gravy??"
