Brunello Cucinelli Aims for Eternal Truths With Fall 2025 Collection of Classic Styles in Intense Colors

Brunello Cucinelli turned to his beloved ancient Greek philosophers to name his fall 2025 collection, presented as “anamnesis.” In philosophy, he explained, it’s the “recollection and recognition of eternal ideas that lie at the origin of the world’s phenomena.”

This translated into a menswear collection that “reclaims its original identity, rendered into a modern and balanced fusion, enriched by the sum of its individual elements.” In layman’s language, garments that exuded luxury and reflected the brand’s tailoring excellence and knitwear expertise.

There was a new wave of more intense colors in the lineup, enriched by a palette hinging on burgundy, amaranth, pumpkin and sapphire.

A blue, belted cashmere and wool coat stood out thanks to a technique that allowed the designer to add Japanese paper into the threads, which contributed to flecks with a salt-and-pepper effect.

Denim was also a focus but treated the Cucinelli way — a denim jacket was taken apart, stonewashed, then stitched back together again into a tailored model.

Suits were paired with colorful jacquard, Shetland or English-rib knits revisited with vanisé techniques, including innovative chevron-inspired variations.

Mixed-media bomber jackets and outerwear with quilted satin finishes contributed to rejuvenating menswear staples.

Details that further elevated the luxury quota ranged from the enameled buttons with the brand’s coat of arms to the precious fabrics inserted on pockets and collars.
