Canadian Swifties are going viral on TikTok after sharing "hilarious" outfit ideas for the Eras Tour Toronto shows, set to take place in late fall of 2024.
Taylor Swift's U.S. leg of the tour was marked by sparkly mini dresses — but for Canadian fans, it might look a little different.
The pop star recently announced long-awaited shows in Canada for her Eras Tour, with six back-to-back shows at the Rogers Centre. Three concerts are taking place from Nov. 14 to 16, and then three more between Nov. 21 and 23, 2024.
The Eras Tour "verified fan" sale began last Wednesday through Ticketmaster and with around 31 million people registered for the tickets, it was nearly impossible for fans to get tickets. The majority were waitlisted.
Those who were lucky enough — or are holding on to hope of getting resale tickets — are already in full planning mode, in the funniest way.
TikTok user Victoria Dias (@victoriadias00) took to the app to show off her outfit idea for the November shows, stepping back to reveal a blue mini dress stretched over a big puffer jacket, pants and knee-length boots.
She paired the look with pink earmuffs and chunky white gloves.
"It's OK, Canadian Halloween has prepared me for this," she captioned he post.
The video received more than 104,000 likes, and many said they could relate in the comments.
"Yup we Swifties gotta bundle up," one TikTok user wrote, while others are planning the opposite.
"After waiting a year and a half for the concert I will absolutely freeze in the name of looking cute," read one comment.
Another TikTok from user @_hellafit showed a similar outfit idea, and a third Swiftie who described herself as a "Lululemon girlie," paired a hot pink puffer vest with golden heels.
TikToker Kriss (@kconnnn) said this outfit preparation feels familiar.
"Thinking about how to stay somewhat warm in my Eras Tour outfit in November is giving me Halloween costume over my snowsuit vibes. Am I right or am I right?" she wrote on the video.
Some TikTok Swifties came through with helpful advice.
"Thermal under layers are a non-bulky great option! You can get them in almost any colour!" one user wrote.
Those who live in more northern parts of the country, however, aren't as concerned.
"Y’all never walk to bars in winter? (I’m Manitoba. We do)," one wrote.
