Canadian influencer opens up about 'accepting' the skin she's in: 'Grateful'

Sarah Nicole Landry is getting candid about self-love.

On Wednesday, the Canadian influencer — better known as The Birds Papaya — took to Instagram to share a video of herself at the beach.

She wore a white and pink floral bikini paired with an inspiring message about feeling liberated by self-acceptance and body positivity.

In the clip, Landry walked away from the camera and ran back toward it, showing off her natural body complete with stretch marks and sagging skin.

"This is uncomfortable to watch," she captioned the post for her two million followers. "And liberating, and joyful, and factual, and the duality of both digesting and accepting how skin is, and how grateful I am to be in it."

In the comments, fans thanked Landry for her "empowering" perspective.

"You’re the reason I am learning to love my body," an Instagram user commented.

Another wrote: To see normal bodies like this is empowering. We don’t see it often enough. We see posed photos of normal bodies and that’s great but bodies aren’t posed."

"This is a great perspective, really, because the fact is, our skin literally holds us together, like beautiful one-of-a-kind wrapping paper," someone else added.

"Thank you, thank you for your vulnerability. It is empowering!" a fan echoed.

Earlier this month, the mother-of-four shared an Instagram video of herself paired with a "powerful" caption about embracing her body.

"Being liked is too difficult a goal. Especially when you spend this much time with yourself in your own skin," Landry shared.

"Because with all of you comes all of me. Not against each other, but woven together. So I move you, nourish you, and show up on the hard days," she wrote about her body. "I will respect the hell out of you because every time I wished you away, you stayed."
