Canadian influencer Sasha Exeter 'twins' with daughter in adorable new pics
Sasha Exeter is enjoying the summer sunshine while "twinning" with her daughter.
The Canadian influencer took to Instagram on Wednesday to share an adorable, sun-soaked photo of herself and her four-year-old daughter Maxwell in Los Angeles. The stunning duo wore matching tangerine orange swimsuits while enjoying the shade under a blue outdoor umbrella.
"You are my sunshine, my little sunshine," Exeter captioned the snap for her more than 150,000 followers.
Fans praised the sweet mother-daughter moment, sharing comments that called the pair "twins."
"Love the matching swimmies," one Instagram user commented on the post, while another chimed in, "This is so precious. You two are twins! Love the matching swimsuits. Such an adorable mama-daughter duo."
"Twins! Love the matching swimwear," another echoed.
"Two beauties," someone else wrote.
One fan raved: "This colour on both of you!" alongside a lovestruck emoji.
"The matching swimsuits are everything! So cute!" added another.
"California girls!" one person penned, while another commented, "Two peas in a pod," with an orange heart emoji.
While she now seems to be living her best mom life, Exeter shared a powerful message just last month on Instagram about "gaslighting" in health care and encouraged her followers to seek a second opinion when receiving care.
The 42-year-old shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed before sharing a "gentle reminder" with followers to trust their instincts while advocating for themselves and their own health.
"After opening up to all of you about the underlining cause for my blood hemorrhaging, dangerously low red blood cells and ferritin all thanks to some gnarly large uterine fibroids, I was flooded with messages from so many of you who shared your own struggles with the same thing," she shared.
"While some of our symptoms differed in severity, the common thread amongst us was, 'Not feeling heard by treating physicians, requests for specific tests being refused, feeling lost within a fractured health care system that is still favouring virtual patient visits over in-person,'" she continued.
"I’m still unsure how in 2022, women need to suffer and yell to be seen. To be heard. To be tested when it comes to female health issues. Gaslighting in healthcare ain’t it," Exeter said.
The mother-of-one encouraged people to "document everything" and "get multiple opinions."
"Most importantly, if a physician refuses to perform a test you’ve requested, have them sign off saying they have refused it and why," she advised.
