Black Friday is coming, and whether you’re planning to hit the stores early or shop online from the comfort of your own home, it’s sure to be great time to take advantage of major sales.

Although it started out as an American shopping event following Thanksgiving south of the border, in the last few years Canadians have been quick to embrace the event as a great way to start holiday shopping, and save big while doing it.

Most major retailers will be offering some type of deals throughout the weekend of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and there’s no shortage of Canadian businesses getting involved this time around too.

We’ve put together a list of proudly Canadian retailers that you’ll want to bookmark to make sure you don’t miss a single sale!

Looking for designer clothing and accessories at a great price? SSENSE has you covered with their sale starting on Nov. 25 offering discounts on edgy streetwear labels and high fashion houses you love.

Sign up for their newsletter to be the first to know when the sale drops, and be sure to have your credit card at the ready.

Frank and Oak

Beginning Nov. 27, Frank and Oak will be starting their Black Friday sale with discounts on their entire line of sustainable basics.

Use the code BF30 to take 30% off your purchase, and save on denim, ultra-soft layers, and more.

Hudson’s Bay

It doesn’t get more Canadian than The Bay, and the department store will be offering deals across their selection of home goods, clothing, footwear and accessories.

This year’s deals are still under wraps, but last year’s sales had discounts of up to 70% off in store and online, so this is one sale that you won’t want to miss out on.

Canadian Tire

Starting Nov. 21, Canadian Tire will be offering early Black Friday deals on everything you need to keep your home and garden looking their best.

Take up to 80% off select Master Chef cookware, 75% off select tools and kits and up to 50% off holiday decor.

Bite Beauty

For luxuriously smooth and pigmented lipsticks, Bite Beauty is one of the best Canadian beauty brands around.

We’re still waiting on their plans for Black Friday 2019, but if last year’s sale is any indication, expect to find discounts around 20% off site-wide, and likely an exclusive gift with purchase.

Le Château

The Montreal-based retailer is celebrating Black Friday with major savings on the perfect holiday outfits, as well as workwear staples and outerwear to get you through the season in style.

You’ll want to act fast to stock up on Lululemon’s exclusive sale, because once their Black Friday deals start, they won’t stick around for long.

The athleisure retailer has yet to announce specifics, but you can bet their We Made Too Much section will be filled with goodies at up to 60% off, as they were last year.

Celebrating with new savings daily, RW&Co. is offering a deal of the day promotion on their selection of men’s and women’s fashions. Be the first to know about each day’s deal by signing up to become an RWInsider and never miss out on your favourite styles.

Coming soon, Aritzia’s Black Fiveday sale will be the place for all your sleek wardrobe must-haves. Although specific deals have yet to be released, last year’s sale saw discounts of up to 50% off, so expect that this year’s deals will be equally as impressive.
