Candy-Inspired Kicks Take Over the New Collection From grounds

Step into a candy land for kicks with the Tokyo-based sneaker brand grounds. For its Pre-Fall 2024 collection, the brand reintroduces beloved styles like Moopie, Jewelry and Oyster with a pastel colour palette and fluffier textures, offering a playful twist.

The campaign for the collection, photographed by Katy Shayne, features influencers Elena Gatsenko and Yvana Han dressed in all metallic, robotic-like clothing posing in a 1950s-style American diner. The creative juxtaposition of futuristic styling with a nostalgic backdrop suggests the collection's versatility in fitting all kinds of wardrobes and aesthetics.

The 13 sneakers in the collection are now offered in mint, pink, "Soda Sky," "Marshmallow," "Sorbet" and "Disco" colours. Additionally, many elements of the shoes play into the candy theme, such as the outsole of the Moopie Breed Sprinkle, made using real TPU sprinkles.
