We Can't Get Over The Size Of Lady Gaga's Oval Diamond Ring
Lady Gaga has added even more glamour to the Venice Film Festival than we thought was possible this week.
Weeks after revealing her engagement during the Paris Olympics, the actor has given fans the first look of her ring. And it's safe to say, it's huge.
Earlier this week, Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, were photographed arriving in Venice ahead of the September 4 premiere of her film Joker: Folie à Deux. For the outing the singer wore a black and white polka dot long-sleeved mini dress, while Polansky complemented her look in an all-black ensemble.

Sporting a French manicure, the ‘Bad Romance’ star was seen planting her left hand on her chest to show off her large oval diamond ring, estimated to be around 7ct.
Oval diamond rings have been enjoying a surge in popularity in recent years (Blake Lively and Hailey Bieber both have oval engagement rings) and are a popular choice for those wanting a more modern shape than the traditional round cut. Their elongated form creates the illusion of a larger, more brilliant stone.
The pair were also seen kissing before boarding a boat to take them across the Grand Canal.
It’s believed Gaga and Polansky first began dating in February 2020, with rumours of an engagement hitting headlines in April 2024.
On July 28, French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal posted a TikTok of himself meeting Gaga at this year’s Olympics, with the singer introducing her partner as her ‘fiancé’.
It’s likely this won’t be the last time we’ll see Gaga’s ring in the coming weeks, given she’ll soon be in the thick of a promotional tour for her upcoming film. In the sequel to Joker, the singer plays Harley Quinn.
‘There’s music, there’s dance, it’s a drama, it’s also a courtroom drama, it’s a comedy, it’s happy, it’s sad,’ she said of the project during an interview with Variety earlier this year. It’s a testament to [Todd Phillips’s] as a director, that he would rather be creative than just tell a traditional story of love.’
